Meeting Reminder: Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at 6:30pm at Bradley Hall, Room 139

Let’s Talk Traffic!

We’ll talk about local street configurations and what traffic calming can accomplish. Come to discuss your thoughts, questions, and concerns.

We will also be providing details on upcoming events (“Celebrate Our Neighborhood” Children’s Art Project and the Nike+ Human Race 10K being sponsored by Running Central/CWWB/Renaissance Park Marketing Committee), ongoing initiatives, and other items.

  • The Campaign website is up and running! Visit www.walkablewestbluff.org for the latest and greatest info on the Campaign. Visit our blog on the site for timely updates and recent happenings. Thank you to Steven Marx for building/maintaining our site.
  • WMBD did a follow-up story after our Walking Audit in April on walkability and New Urbanism (Promoting New Urbanism, WMBD, 5-1-08) which included information on the CWWB.
  • Order a Campaign T-shirt — Only $7!
  • If you would like to order your own Campaign T-shirt to support the Campaign for a Walkable West Bluff, they can be purchased for approx. $7 each (if we can place an initial order for 50). Shirts will have a large CWWB logo on the front and could be natural, tangerine or celery green. If you are interested, please email Megan Vlach at meganvlach@gmail.com with the following information: Name, Phone number, Number of T-shirts, Color, Short or Long Sleeve, Size of each T-shirt — XS,S, M, L, XL (Please note: XXL and XXXL are $1 and $2 more respectively). We will decide if an order will be submitted based on general interest level.
